Services
At Car Remaps, we offer a full range of ECU remapping and engine tuning services across the Midlands. Whether you’re after improved performance, better fuel economy, or advanced diagnostics, we’ve got you covered with reliable, mobile service and expert care.
Below is a breakdown of all the expert services we provide:
01
Stage 1 Remap
Our Stage 1 Remap is designed for stock vehicles with no modifications. It’s the safest and most effective way to unlock additional horsepower, torque, and smoother throttle response without affecting engine longevity. Ideal for daily drivers who want better performance with no extra parts required.
02
Stage 2 Remap
The Stage 2 Remap builds on Stage 1, delivering even more power and responsiveness—but it’s designed for vehicles with hardware upgrades like a performance exhaust or air intake system. This remap maximises your existing modifications for the best performance gains.
03
Fuel Saving Remap
A Fuel Saving Remap focuses on improving MPG by optimising your engine’s fuel delivery and torque curve, particularly at cruising speeds. Ideal for high-mileage drivers, fleets, or anyone looking to reduce fuel costs without compromising drivability.
04
DPF Delete
Our Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) Delete service is for off-road or motorsport vehicles that are experiencing frequent DPF clogging or regeneration issues. We safely remove the DPF software from your ECU to eliminate related fault codes and limp mode problems.
05
Adblue Delete
If your vehicle’s AdBlue system is causing dashboard warnings or faults, our Adblue Delete service can help. We remove the AdBlue system from your ECU, stopping the need for ongoing top-ups or expensive repairs. (Off-road and export use only.)
06
EGR Delete
The Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Delete prevents dirty exhaust gases from recirculating back into the engine, which can cause carbon buildup and reduced performance. Deleting the EGR helps restore engine power and prevents common reliability issues.
07
02 Sensor Delete
If your Oxygen (O2) sensors are causing false readings or preventing performance upgrades, we can disable them within the ECU. This service is commonly used in vehicles with de-cats or custom exhaust setups.
08
NOx Sensor Delete
A failing NOx sensor can result in warning lights, limp mode, and expensive repairs. Our NOx Sensor Delete service removes these systems from the ECU to restore normal engine performance.
09
MAP Sensor Delete
For custom or motorsport setups, we can perform a MAP Sensor Delete—removing the sensor from ECU control where necessary for tuning or hardware compatibility.
10
Swirl Flap Delete
Swirl flaps are known to fail and cause engine damage or restriction in airflow. We can remove the swirl flap functionality from your ECU, preventing future issues and improving airflow and reliability.
11
Pops & Bangs
Add an aggressive edge to your vehicle with Pops & Bangs tuning. This ECU calibration causes fuel ignition on overrun, creating a crackling exhaust note. Best suited for turbocharged petrol vehicles with performance exhaust systems.
12
Module Coding
Need specific features enabled or disabled? Our Module Coding service allows us to program various control units in your car—for example, activating hidden features or reprogramming modules after hardware upgrades.
13
Injector Coding
After replacing or upgrading fuel injectors, Injector Coding ensures your ECU recognises and communicates with them correctly. Essential for optimal engine operation, performance, and fuel economy.
14
Start/Stop Disable
If your vehicle’s Start/Stop system is more annoying than helpful, we can permanently disable it via the ECU. This gives you consistent engine performance and removes the hassle of turning it off manually each drive.
15
Fault Diagnostics
Using professional diagnostic tools, we offer full fault code scanning and diagnostics to accurately identify issues before repairs or remapping. Get peace of mind and avoid unnecessary costs with our expert fault-finding service.
16
ECU Cloning
Our ECU Cloning service transfers all data from your original unit to a replacement ECU—ideal if yours is faulty or damaged. This ensures your vehicle retains its original settings and immobiliser data, avoiding the need for dealer reprogramming.
